Wednesday 11th August 2004

By Aidan Rich.

Soon to be professional racing jockey, Tom Bubb, took the reigns of a fishing rod at Hapton Court along with some friends. The day didn't get off to a good start as my dog Coco, who also attended managed to eat one of the bated rigs, complete with luncheon meat and large hook.

Panic ensued, mainly by myself as to what should be done, especially as I didn't want to spoil the day as we had only just set the rods up.
After a few phone calls to the vets, all was calm, and we all set about trying to catch some fish.

Although the weather and water conditions seamed just right, Alan was the only one of us to catch anything with a haul of several Bream.
